Oak Tree Lodge is owned by Carewise Homes Group and is run by Care Manager, Mrs Kate Biddlecombe. Kate started her career as a midwife, and specialised in community midwifery care, antenatal education and home births. After raising her children Kate returned to work but switched to elderly care, primarily working with dementia patients. Kate has been with Oak Tree Lodge for six years and worked from senior carer to deputy manager and now manager. Kate has gained her NVQ level 5 in Health and Social Care and holds qualifications in end of life care, dementia care and safeguarding as well as others.
Attentive and compassionate carers are available twenty four hours a day. The high staff -resident ratio enables us to provide companionship and stimulation, as well as tending to your physical needs.
In addition to the Care staff, Oak Tree Lodge Care Home employs expert cooks, domestic staff, catering and kitchen assistants and a maintenance person.
